The Polaroid 4-stop Light Reducer or Filter was a neutral density (ND) filter for use with Type 47 and Type 37 3000ASA film outdoors with all picture roll cameras (not J series). It effectively reduced film speed by four stops to 200ASA.

Originally supplied free as part of the Wink-Light #250 kit to to encourage sales of 3000 speed picture roll, the accessory was also available boxed as a retail item shown right.

Reversible mount also doubles as a light seal around I-B (Instantaneous-Bulb) switch on Speedliner models. With mount removed the reducer fits Highlander cameras.
