The distinct branding for the Swinger features a white camera on a blue, green and purple box. The polystyrene moulded base has room for two AA batteries while the folded card top packaging protected the camera. Click on the picture to evolve.

For the Swinger II, sold in international markets, the basic style remains but the colours of the boxes change to red, yellow and purple. The now separate flashgun, if supplied, was packed in a facsimile box tucked into the folded card top packing. Click on the picture to evolve.

For the Swinger Sentinel in America all pretence of style had gone. Recognising the camera was sold primarily in the youth market and that the box would be the first casualty, Polaroid shipped the Swinger Sentinel in a plain cardboard box.The #259 flash gun for the US market, if supplied, was in a plain black on white printed box.
