Over 500 of these cameras were made by J Langham Thompson Ltd of Bushey Heath, Herts using Polaroid-supplied backs, based on the J66 casting, separately serial numbered. The serial number of this unit is 410/379 – B038148 (the 379th unit built using Polaroid back serial B 038148). A serial number 410/596 has been reported.

This model is fitted with f/3.5 3-inch Dallmeyer Oscillograph lens in a helical focusing mount; f/2.8 version was also available. Automatic-resetting Everset shutter with B, T, 1sec, 1/2, 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50 and 1/250. Shutter flash hard wired to two large sockets on lens board beneath the lens for trace synchronization. Takes standard Polaroid Series 40 film but most likely used with 10,000 ASA Type 410 Polascope film. Fits circular mount in an oscilloscope hood and gives an object/image ratio of 1.2 to 1.7.
